June 2011
It’s been an awfully long time since I’ve even submitted anything to Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine, but they have recently bought ‘The Very Edge of New Harare,’ a murder mystery set in an Africa of the not-too-far future.
I was at the Amnesty International Bookshop in Brighton on June 18th, reading both my story ‘Sense’ from the Never Again anthology and an old favourite of mine, ‘Lightning Dogs.’ It was a great evening and well attended. Thanks to everyone who came.
I’ve recently put two new books out on Amazon Kindle, both short story collections. They are ‘Dark Futures: SF meets Horror,’ which kind of speaks for itself; and ‘Sherlock Holmes in the 21st Century,’ in which the great detective arrives in our modern age to find himself confronted by baffling, and dangerous, supernatural mysteries. You can find out more about them, and my other e-book publications, here.
