MORE BOOK NEWS: My first ever paperback short story collection is due out next year, from the award-winning Elastic Press. Going Back will feature a good double-fistful of my slipstream and mainstream tales, including such highly-praised ones as the title one, ‘Nine Rocks in a Row’, and ‘What Malcolm Did the Day Before Tomorrow’.
The book will be launched, by the way, at Derby’s Alt.Fiction Festival, at which I’ve been invited to give a reading.
The short film of my story ‘Beautiful Stranger’ (see September 2005) is finished, and is absolutely terrific.
